  Excellent study guide for the Gospel of John. Chock full of information about the language and imagery of the fourth Gospel. I've always found the Gospel of John fascinating but difficult to understand. Barclay writes clearly and helps one understand the mind set of those for whom the Gospel was written, i.e., for a non-Jewish culture/5(97).
